how many days of stay is enough to enjoy Hong Kong?

Hi po.
Just wanted to find out, how many days is the ideal stay in HK. Di ko kasi alam kung bitin ba magiging stay namin dun or not e.
We're staying for 4 days and 4 nites kasi. But since the 1st 2 days would be dedicated to Disneyland and Ocean Park, would a day and a half be sufficient to enjoy it? I mean, go to the Peak, Avenue of Stars and go around the shopping malls (not sure if we're going to buy anything yet, but you never know.)
I'm thinking kasi of extending it for one more nite sana, pra naman hindi kami pagod. Kaso syempre, kasama nun is additional expense (place to stay and food.) What do you guys think?
Thanks and more power.

no, four nights should be fine.
you can devote one whole day for:
- peak and wax museum (morning til afternoon)
- avenue of stars at 8pm
- mongkok at temple street after the light show in avenue of stars. they're open til 11:00pm, even later during weekends
next day you can come back to tst
- by riding the star ferry from central
- go back to avenue of stars since the harbour looks very different on daylight
- you can take your family to the space museum, and science museum. kids will love them, especially the latter. they're in the same area. will take you about 2 hrs per museum
- shopping. shopping after museum hopping. hk is full of malls. there's a lot in tsim sha tsui already.
--> sorry to be imposing my geekiness. hehe... just check the schedule of the museums. they close one weekday every week.

tnx po mam. i wasnt planning on going to the museums sana, so if i take that out, would that be sufficient enough to just look around malls and if ever shop? kasi we have to check out at 12 then leave our baggage muna sa hotel because our flight is 9 pa.

alam mo koya, pwede ka ring pumasyal sa effort. Sobrang laki nun at siguro kahit 3 hours di mo mapuntahan lahat. Check in kayo ng mas maaga. Kung 9pm flight mow, dun na kayow ng 5pm at least
para makapasyal at makapag last minute shopping.
pwede pa kayong magpa fecture kodakan fest
effort....yung maraming eflane

sorry to be imposing my geekiness. hehe..
if you want you can go to lantau island on your last day. you can find the biggest outdoor buddha statue in the world there. perfect for photo op. you can do that in half a day. easiest way to get there is through cable car.
you can go shopping all day if you really want. personally speaking, i don't like shopping here. heck, i hate shopping in general. plus the authenticity of branded stuff is equally questionable as in pinas so be careful. it's not 'sale' season, fyi.
go see the sites. that's why you're here anyway. naah, that's just the geeky me getting tyrannical once again. hehe..
take care on your flight!

There's a good place to shop in Tung Chung. It's called Citygate, very near MTR station.
All, if not, most are outlet stores, like Addidas outlet, nike outlet, Espirit outlet....
but the price, may not be that cheap, pero mas mura (konti lang).
to answer your question, 4 days, enough na yun sir

tnx po sa mga replies. i really appreciate it.
the bad news is, extending our vacation for 1 more day is out of the question, dahil fully booked na ung flight back, and if i try to extend it to 2 days, i spend a big amount in terms of fare and place to stay. so hindi na namin inextend.
the good news though is we were able to change our flight from evening to 1st flight in the morning of the same day (paging kungkang), so at least, pwede na namin mamaximize ung stay namin. hehehe di na kami mag gagahol sa oras tyak nun, with plenty of rest time to spare. hehehe
tnx po again, and hope i can meet some of you guys when we do get there. see ya!!!

Thank you very much sa inyong lahat. Finally managed to go to HK and my family loved it, ako nabitin huhuhuh. Sana makabalik ako dyan ng June, minus my kid, para ma enjoy ko ung place.
But over all, I enjoyed your city. Malaking malaki pinagiba sa pinas. I would like to extend my gratitude to KungKang for his effort and hospitality when we got there. Pare, kung hindi dahil sa inyo, baka mangiyak ngiyak kami sa HK nun. heheheh Maraming maraming salamat.
Too bad I never got to meet anyone else from PHK besides KungKang and sorry po, di ko po matandaan yung name na pinakilala sa akin ni ser KK. Harass na harass po kasi kami nun dahil first day namin, but it was a pleasure to meet you to as well ser.
Thanks again for all your inputs.
