My 2nd DAY: A day discovering around & something from me to learn about

Well, today is my second day as "baguhan" here in phk.com.  And guess what?!!!! My status? Active User in the past ?? mins. , or  just to be exact I was logged in for 10 hrs already ....... then who's sayin' that  i'm a net addict? hey I'm not!I was just looking around, reading your forums, jokes, blogs, news  etc.... etc...... and, it's not that i'm not doing anything ok...... being on line most of the time is just part of my job. And it's really nice to know about  what has been going around and about our fellow kababayans.

Ang hirap mag trabaho ano? Ang hirap ng buhay.......We simply cannot do things the same old way anymore... we need to work soooo hard and even work far away from our home and our loved ones. Yet, our situation shouldn't be a reason to prevent us from growing and learning.

Sa ngayon, (lalo na sa mga nasa malalayong lugar tulad nyo)  we spend most of our spare time
(especially on weekends) googling and surfing the internet, chatting, checking our Friendster, Tagged, Face Book, Multiply accounts etc....Yup, it's fun.....entertaining.....pantanggal homesick
at pampalipas oras!  Everything goes with the advancement in technology.... we say it as "hi-tech" or "techy". The evolution in our technology comes from the knowledge that we have and with our continous quest for improvement and expertise.

Hmmm.... Why am I sayin' all of these? Ano ba ito? ...... definitely hindi ito sermon ha!ha!ha! And I am not  a teacher at all!  Sabihin na lang nating, gusto ko lang mag share ....  and one one thing now that I truly believe and that would be beneficial to most of us is the idea of E-LEARNING.  So, what is this e-learning? I guess not all of us is familiar about  it, I myself was oblivious of that matter until I got employed in a company providing such service and enrolled myself to some of it's courses. It's from then that I found out that these are the same modules used for our training when I was still in a call center ....  and that the courses  are integrated in the curriculum of some of the well known colleges and universities here in the Philippines.

So what am I saying? What am I up to?

ha!ha! oh , yeah.... it's not just about IT and business, actually we do have training materials for Human Resources because we've clients from different industries. On how they can protect themselves, how can it be considered as sexual harassment etc... Meron pa ngang topics on how  to manage stress, driving rules and safety, first aid etc. We also do have English proficiency, and courses or educational activities for pre-schoolers. Basically, we cater from the primary to tertiary level, workers and professionals.  Aside from the accreditation from TESDA, CHed and DepEd, our e-learning content comes from our international software developers and vendors like Cisco, Microsoft, Java etc.... Haaaayyyyy! weekend na job related pa rin! ha!ha!ha!

sexual harrasment? ha!ha!.... really part of it, especially for HR department, so that employees are aware if their superiors are going beyond thelimit na.... lalo na sa aming mga girls! Kaya go!go! girls! ha!ha!
