Good evening! I find this site very helpful..  thumbrt  gusto ko lang sana magpatulong sa iterinaries namin.
My special one and I are planning this vacation but we are apart now..dyan lang kmi magkikita and we're gonna spend 5days there. We'll meet on thursday, friday bday nya. I wanna make her day really special, gusto ko rin sana sa araw na un mag propose ako..patulong naman kung anu kaya pinaka romantic na place dyan?Yun sana within the budget lang din..ksi medyo limited pa =) Im thinking about the cable car sana, does it operate at night?yung overlooking hk or dun sa may fireworks...im really confuse =)
Back to my title.. =) 5days kmi dyan, we'll just stay in a hostel yung room for rent na dito ko lang din nakita sa jordan area ba yun?tst area =) anu ho kaya maganda gawin sa 5 days namin, wag na po yung mga museums. ocean park and disneyland is included and we're planning to stay 1 night in macau. then the rest of the day night market and window shop Smiley anu ho kaya mganda unahin like first day etc..
lastly..is 20-30k PHP enough sa shop, eat and pasyal ho ba?
pasensya po haba post..first time ko ksi lumabas na di kasma family  Cheesy

salamat in advance =)

you can also go to the peak and visit the wax museum.  don't miss the symphony of lights.

proposal idea: go to lan kwai fong.. it's the centre of night life in hk.  i suggest you go to 'cavern'.  it's a bar flocked with pinoy staff.  approach the tech people and let them flash your 'will you marry me' message in the projector.  you can also approach the band and see if they can call you and your gf and sing your song.. come earlier.. like 9pm..  para walang cover charge at di gaano ang tao.. mas intimate sya nun, and you have bigger chances of getting every one to accept your requests..

sorry ang cheesy ko.... hahaha!

thanks for the suggestion blsm  thumbrt pero yung gf ko kasi cheesy din..gusto nya yung perfect moment talga..ika nga romantic place, yung kami lang talaga sa isang place, in the right time, those kind of stuffs  Cheesy we both like fireworks though and scenic views..open pa ba yung cable car sa gabi?how do we get there pag sa nathan road kmi nag stay?thanks again!  Cool

Pa suggest din kung anu best to do sa 5days nmn?kung ano ipriority punta?parang sa mga nababasa ko kulang pa 5 days  Embarrassed parang ang dami pa kasi puntahan sa hk..macau pa kami one day =) by the way, worth it ba mag 1night pa kmi dun?sbe kasi nila mas ok daw ang macau sa gabi.

no cable car at night, if you're going to the giant buddha anyway. hanggang 6:30 lang un.

when are you going by the way?

you can propose at the ocean park's cable car. that is if you're there on or before 2nd of november.  they have a halloween bash, so they're open until 11:30pm during this period.  the cable car operates then at night.  memorable sya nun kase after accepting your proposal, you'll see people in scary costume. elation and fright at the same time! haha!

hk is overrated. 4 days should be enough
day 1 disney
day 2 ocean park
day 3 the peak, wax museum, giant buddha
day 4 shopping

i never stayed for a night in macau.  i believe it's quite pricey. just walk around and take photos.  ferry to hk is, i believe, 24hrs naman. check out at your hk hotel at noon, go to the ferry terminal and roam around the largo do senado and fisherman's wharf. at night just have dinner and walk around the casino strip.  there's a famous circus show in venetian now.  instead of staying there, just spend your money on the ticket to watch this show.

or maybe im just a cheapskate. haha!

wait wait....

you can propose at the venetian! rent a gondola and propose while traversing through the man made waterway!

ay meron pa! go to the macau tower, do a skywalk (i think about HK$200 pax) and do your speech while you guys are hundreds of feet above the ground.  the lights from the whole of macau will make the moment very scenic.  proposal at the top of the world.

ang keso keso ko talaga.. nyaha!  kinacareer ko na to.. back to work na ko!

hi snowb,

wala akong alam na romantic place e, sori.  but the peak is nice, you can go there sa gabi, i think up till 9 bukas ang mga shops nya ata, but the peak itself, siguro until midnight, i guess.  you can check the website for more info.

for your 5 days, hmmmm, nag package ba kayo or DIY (better by the way)?  if DIY, you could probably:

1st/Thursday:
visit The Peak, TST, Symphony of Lights, and night market (kung kaya nyo pa ha, dahil im sure, pagod kayo pag arrive ng airport. Smiley )

2nd/Friday:
Ngong Ping in the morning, then Disneyland, after (which can also be a good place to propose, habang me fireworks sa background  Wink(8:00 pm ata?)

3rd/Saturday:
You have the option to either go to Ocean Park (dapat maaga, as in opening pa lang dapat andun na kayo) you'd probably be done sa OP around 3-4 pm, depending on how long the line will be.  If not, you can go to Kowloon Park, then shopping around Nathan Road and Mongkok.  At night, you could go to Lan Kwai Fong para gumimik naman.

Or visit Macau.  It's up to you whether you want to stay at night there.  pero pwede naman kahit hindi e.  punta ka lang ng maaga, go visit the casinos, senado square, ruins of st paul, macau tower (pwede din mag propose dito, hhehe, during skywalking - medyo mahal nga lang)  then, if you still have time, visit wynn hotel, and watch nyo ung singing fountain nila, at ung nasa loob na tree of prosperity.  i think until 10 pm ang last trip or is it 11? ng turbojet e, check mo na lang din sa site.

4th/Sunday:
There's this other park, somewhere i think in the New Territories, parang eco park sya, that might also be a nice place to visit.  or go to tung chung, visit Citygate mall.  dami mura dun.

5th/Monday:
you'll probably be doing some last minute shopping na lang dito i guess dahil kakainin din ng oras ninyo ung pag punta sa airport as well as pag check in ng gamit (3 - 4 hours check in time).

Bottomline, enjoy HK, and good luck on your proposal!!!

Sory guys..I just really want this to be special kasi it will be her birthday and my proposal at the same time.gusto ko gawing memorable talga.
1 month lang kasi sya dito pinas after balik naman sya UAE to work. sobrang stressed out ksi sya sa trabaho nya kaya gsuto ko lahat ng gagawin namin plantsado ko na...i just want her to enjoy the trip and be her most memorable one  love10

awww ang sweet mo naman... i'm sure your gf would be happy, whatever the surprise you have in mind... inggit ako tuloy haha (asa ba naman ako na may magppropose pa sakin  evil3  )

pagdating mo sa airport you can ride the airport express, but medyo mahal lang sya $100 ang one-way... you can still ride the bus naman, it would be cheaper, and i'm sure naman na konti lang ang dala nyo so pwede kayo mag-bus, i think it's less than $50 and you could look at the stops naman if there would be one near your hostel... although i haven't tried the bus kasi pag dumarating ako ng hk madami akong bitbit at ayokong kaladkarin ung maleta ko papuntang flat

buy an octopus card na rin, you should have one each. sobrang convenient, you can use it anywhere. from what i remember you can get one from any MTR station at $150, may load na syang $100. then when you're going to leave HK, you can just return it sa MTR station din, or even at the airport. you'll get back the balance remaining and $43 of the $50 "deposit"

mahaba ang nathan road, san kayo banda dun?

if you look at the map of hk, tsuen wan is at the very end. a bad location for a tourist if i may say.

and yes, they are free maps in the airport.
