hello Quible, from me and the rest of gang - welcome to pinoyhongkong.com forum!

hmmm.. let me see, popular tourist spots and attractions here in hong kong:
1. Ocean Park
Well, even though one aint fanatic no more with rides and all that (which I for one join the club), guess i might consider not to miss out visiting Lele and Ying ying after all - by the way they are the 2 pandas officially inhabited now by Hong Kong - they are actually a gift from China in commemoration of the 10th anniversary handover from the British colony. (Guys i'm the one who's typing here so shooo just let me share some incy bitsy part of the history, you won't mind anyway no Quible?

) Moreover, if you're one who appreciates the mystique gift of nature, checking out Ocean Park big aquarium with its marine theme based park having thousand different kinds of aquatic species (which the attraction is basically well known for, might be quite obvious too with its name in the first place) is extravagant.
Admission/head: HKD185.00
Openning hours: 900am to 630pm
Time needed: it depends though, but personally, walking thru two huge mountains? Like Disney's, i'll consider one whole day for that.
Transpo: Bus shutte service,Hotels usually have free shuttle service routing these tourist locations, better check it out with yours. Could save up the transpo expenses. Otherwise taking public buses or taxi (you can find taxi stands on the street level. This may be a more expensive way of using public transportation) are your alternative option. MTR are only accesible to the bus station by the way, not exactly to Ocean Park drop-off.
PS: Ocean Park have other programs/shows (i.e. dolphin show, etc..) performed everday, and yes you might want to arrange your schedule in advance to make sure you and your hUney make use much of your time during your outdoor walk. To find out more, perhaps you want to check out their website at

2. The Peak:

4. Big Buddha:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tian_Tan_Buddha5. (NOT in operation) Ngong Ping 360 - Please note that it is NOT in operation this time (just might as well as just write it down since nearby the location of the Big Buddha) - this is a cable car ride which give you a panoramic view of the Lantau island (an island in New Territory, Hong Kong), this is actually a new attraction which just operated last year september but yeah once again, just please note that it is currently not in operation yah? Still haven't been advised so as to when.
http://www.np360.com.hk/html/eng/np360_exp/skyrail_index.html6. Victoria Harbour: every 800 to 815 in the evening, 365 days all year round year, you might wanna check out and watch the 15 minutes "Symphony of Light" in Tsim Sha Tsui- the world's largest permanent light and sound show. The show is enhanced by rooftop pyrotechnic displays on both sides of Victoria Harbour. Popular photo shots of hong kong like this one -

- is taken during the show

This compliment is brought to you by govt of Hong Kong administrative region for all the tourist who visits Hong Kong.

So yah, if you can make it with your schedule and watch, guess it will nice
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_HarbourPS: After that, If you like, you can have a ferry ride experience too, only hkd2 to 3 dollars per head per ride. From Tsim Sha Tsui to Central then back to Tsim Sha Tsui again, hehe just for the experience you know, I believe it operates til 9pm? So there you goes.
Hope this helps!

See you around then, and to both of you - happy trip and enjoy!!
