Carmen, kung US$135 yan, mura nga!

Kasi yung dating ni recommend ko sa cousin last time, mga $hk500 a day.
3 sila nung asawa nya chaka yung little boy nila.

Maraming Salamat!

Hi Shazam,

here's the salary range for IT
http://www.jobsdb.com/HK/EN/V6HTML/JobSeeker/Resources/salaryreport2006/IT.htm

Flat rent varies. depende sa location and age ng building. Mas mahal sa Hong Kong side. Yung 500-600sq.ft. cost about 6-8K a month.

newbie here.  Hello to everyone!  Hihingi lang po sana ng tulong.  My husband has been offered a permanent job there in HK (he's a mainframe programmer) and he'd like to eventually bring the whole family  there.  Our main concern is about the education of our 3 kids, the eldest will be in 2nd year HS next school year, the other two will be in Grade 5 and Grade 3. Any info po na maibibigay ninyo to us will be greatly appreciated.  Maraming maraming salamat po!

If you want to bring the whole family, OK lang. Yung 25-30K, halos sakto lang or me konting matitira, of course depende sa lifestyle nyo.

I'll be back later to give more info....busy lang kasi

Thank you po for your answer.  Hihintayin ko pa yung ibang iseshare mo a akin ha.  Actually final na yung offer sa husband ko, HK$ 30,000 plus additional benefits like medical insurance, life insurance, discretionary bonus, 16 days paid annual leave, retirement benefits.  Ok na ba yun in your opinion?

Like sa amin, we're paying 6.8K, mura na yun kasi nasa new territories kami.

Yung bonus (13th month) I think, standard na dito yun, pero minsan, pag OK yung business ng company, nagbibigay pa ng 14th or 15th month, usually binibigay before Chinese New Year (Feb).

Kelan po ang dating nyo?

Habang bakasyon mga kids nyo, mas magandang makita nila yung mga schools pati na rin yung way of life here. September ang start ng school dito, but I've no idea kung paano application sa schools pag galing sa atin.

Thank you very much sa reply mo. Ayaw kasi namin na siya lang ang nandyan tapos maiiwan kami dito kasi both of us are products of families na OFW ang father (in his case even his Mom) and we know na mahirap para sa mga bata ang malayo sa parents so we're trying to work out na makasama kami lahat.

If in case inaccept nya yung offer, diyan na ba aayusin yung papers nya? How long will it take before ma-aaprove yun?  Then after it has been approved, at makapunta na siya diyan, kailangan pa ba niya magpunta sa HK immigration for additional documentation or yun na yon?  Sa Singapore kasi  you will be given approval in principle tapos pagdating mo doon, aayusin mo pa ulit sa Ministry of Manpower.  Ganun din ba diyan?

Actually he was able to work in Singapore and we were able to go with him there pero bumalik kami dito sa Pinas after 2 years so the kids had already been exposed to living in another country.  So i'm assuming na magugustuhan din nila diyan.

We will accept your suggestion na dalhin sila diyan this vacation for them to see for themselves kung magugustuhan nga nila tumira at mag-aral diyan.

Maraming maraming salamat ulit ha.  Sana di kayo magsawa sa ginagawa ninyo.  You guys really are helping people like us.
