The Pit Bull team 10-1 run on the 3rd quarter gave them 90-68 victory last night @ Mount Haven, Tsing Yi that even the standing with the RFC team (5-2). The Pit Bull team, who trailed by as many as 10 points in the 1st quarter (11-21) and 9 points in the 2nd quarter (20-29), had taken the lead for the first time in the third quarter on consecutive feeds from Dennis Manlangit (jersey no. 42) to Chris Keung (jersey no. 13) that made it 51 Pit Bull - 42 RFC by the end of third quarter.

Lord Ever Digan who sparked his team with some hassle play and Mike Magaling, had six points a piece. Hammad, Chung & Dennis M, all scored 8 points, 11 points for Nezar, Bobby Reyes and Andy Chan Chiu both with 10 points and the MVP of the game Chris Keung added 19 points.

“We needed to open the floor off Chris some and get that balance”
, veteran guard Dennis Manlangit said. “Tonight we were able to go bigger and get away with it.”
“We just have to have that desperation and play with the fury we did in the last two quarters”.

Forward Jack Catacutan led the RFC team with 25 points and slasher Marlon De Ocampo had 17 points. Twelve points for rookie guard Eric Goyena, Bel Lorenzo added 7 points, four points from Willy Fuentes and Nestor De La Cruz with 3 points.

The RFC team entered the 3rd quarter leading 31-20 with a layup from the slasher Marlon De Ocampo. But consecutive 3 points by Chris and fastbreak feeds from Dennis M. capped the spurt for the Pit Bull team.

RFC loosing the vital services of veteran forward Francis Itaas and rookie point guard Marlon Clavio gave Pit Bull their own dose of medicine in the first half. They run the floor and attack the basket, and played plenty of energy. But without their 2 star players they run out of rhythm in the final minute of regulation. After trailing the entire
first half, the Pit Bull team outscored the RFC team after the deadlock 29-29. They never relinquish the lead after that.
