More than 100 positive cases of Covid19 infections recorded this Sunday, July 19, 2020 in Hong Kong, as the city faces grim record all time high in this third wave of pandemic.
The alarming cumulative cases is now 349 since July 7.
A fourth health worker from Tuen Mun Eye Centre tested positive adding her to the 3 workers which were reported earlier to be infected.
According to SCMP news,
The city’s official Covid-19 total on Saturday surged to 1,777 – surpassing the 1,755 infections it recorded during the severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars) epidemic in 2003 The latest revelation came as a fourth health worker at Tuen Mun Eye Centre, where three clerks were earlier reported to be infected, tested preliminary positive for the coronavirus on Sunday.
To date, there are now 1778 confirmed cases, 12 deaths and 1274 recovered
